Studying Psychic Phenomena and Socionics

The article represents an attempt of psychological research of existence of 'conceptual bridges' between so-cionics and psychology. Certain issues of the system organization of information processes in human psyche, the basic provisions of A.Kepinsky's theory of informational metabolism and particularities of TIM as a multilevel structure are considered. It is concluded that it is TIM as a multilevel basic functional system that performs the role of a linking stage in research of various psychic phenomena and provides for the follow-up of multi-dimensional, multilevel, poly-determining and hierarchic character of different psychic phenomena manifestation in an individual.
Key words: informational metabolism, psyche, system approach, structure, TIM, theory of functional systems.

Types and Empathy

The concept of empathy is considered. Informational metabolism types are ranged by their aptitude to em-pathy.
Key words: socionics, informational metabolism type, psychical form, empathy.

On Probability-based Approach to Studying of Psyche. Part I. Model of Semantic Space of a Subject

The model of semantic space of a subject is based on the probabilistic approach to the study of psyche (proposed by V.V.Nalimov) and on the invariant attributes of any subject of a psyche. Brief substantiation and description of principles of building of this model are given, prospects and first results of this model applica-tion are discussed.
Key words: psyche, subject, semantic space, model, structure

On Suicide Preventing Service

Principal personal and social factors of suicide cases are considered. Correlation between types of informa-tional metabolism and certain suicidal risks and a form of suicidal attempt is shown based on huge research material; recommendations for prevention are given.
Key words: type of informational metabolism, suicidal risk factors, form of suicidal attempt, suicide method.

Small Groups

Typology and classification of socionic small groups are considered from the standpoint of bipolar attributes. There are indicate all possible divisions of socion on four by pairs of orthogonal attributes and two classes of small groups - homogeneous and non-homogenous are allocated.
Key words: socionics, small group, bipolar attributes.

Dimensionality of Psychic Functions and Informational Flow Contents Differentiation

Levels of complexity in description of informational flow aspects as dependent from dimensionality of re-spective informational metabolism (IM) functions are considered. Differences in the semantics of aspects in case of using mono-dimensional, bi-dimensional, three-dimensional and four-dimensional (acc. to A. Bukalov) methods of information processing by IM functions are traced.
Key words: socionics, informational flow aspects, functions of informational metabolism, dimensionality of functions.

Different Interpretations of the Model A

Different forms of representations and descriptions of functioning of the socionic psyche model (A-Model, or Model A) are analyzed. Availability of multiple variations in the work of model and its extensions' inter-pretation is shown.
Key words: socionics, psyche model, psychic functions, informational metabolism, information transfer

The Periodical Metasystem of the Socion

Possibility of unification of characteristics of manifestation of intertype relationships within the Socion de-pending on their intensity (acc. to G.A.Shulman) and the system of contact levels of the socionic type (acc. to V.V.Gulenko) is analyzed. Based on this synthesis, an idea of "constructing" the system of optimal inter-action of the TIM its environment is suggested.
Key words: socionics, TIM, periodical system of the Socion, physical level, social level, informational level, psycho-logical level, interrelation intensity.

On a New Stage of Human Biological Evolution

Decoding of human genome will inevitably result in operating with DNA-code and in creation of different variants of Homo sapiens, which could considerably distinguish from initial species.
Key words: DNA, mutation, evolution, genetic engineering, cloning, socionics, integral type, ethnos, super-ethnos, Homo sapiens.
