Analysis of Vital Programs Using C.G.Jung's Typology

The article analyses basic concepts of C.G.Jung's Psychological Types, where differences between types are described as opposite vectors of psychic energy (extroversion - introversion, thinking - feeling, sensation - intuition). Psychological attitude combined with the program function makes an individual's vital program. Considering various combinations of attitudes and psychical functions, one can research different variants of vital programs for psychological and socionic types.
Key words: psychical energy, extroversion, introversion, thinking, feeling, sensation, intuition, vital programs.

Personality Development Stages

The article considers correlation between tasks characteristic to different personality development stages (age crises) according to E.Erickson, on the one hand, and functionality of functions of the Model A. Based on this comparison, socionic hypothesis of personality development is presented. The article elevates so-cionic approach from mere statement of presence of the personality type to the level of diagnostics and solu-tion of people's problems.
Key words: personality development, psychoanalysis, socionics, A-Model, age crises, individual features, productive function, accepting function.

On Model of Socion

The conceptual possibility of building periodical systems of socion (PSS) on all 840 Reinin bases is demonstrated. Should the dichotomy rationality/irrationality be considered as only conditionally belonging to the basis, then the total number of PSS in first approximation will make 20160. In this case each PSS represents a 'snapshot' or 'horizontal cut' of the Socion. Based on this presumption, the information metabolism type is construed as a probability-based cloud of existence in psycho-informational space. A hypothesis is proposed that, depending on real conditions of existence, a human may migrate towards other Reinin bases and exist in them, remaining in his own socionic type.
Key words: Periodical System of Socion (PSS), Jungian basis, Reinin bases, multitude of PSS, human socionic type (informational metabolism type, IMT), migration of IMT towards other bases, IMT as probability-based cloud of existence in psycho-informational space.

Theoretical Analysis of the Typological Personality Descriptions

Theoretical description of the structure of personal traits from the standpoint of type and typology concepts is proposed. Comparison between the best known factor-based methodologies has shown that personality measurement methodologies use as a rule 15 ± 5 factors, whose orthogonalization results in 4 independent factors. Comparison between three clinical typologies allows finding 16 personality types. The same quantity of types exists in the most advanced theoretical typologies. Based on systematic analysis of sources, a hy-pothesis on existence of a uniform 16-element personality typology is proposed, which realizes the idea of mutual correlation and complementation of the typological and the factor-based approaches.
Key words: type, typology, factor descriptions of personality, socionics, psychology.
