Age-Specific Psychological Crises at School
The article describes age-specific psychological crises of the school period caused by changes in psychical characteristics of children in course of transition from one stage of personality development to another.
Key words: psychological crisis, stages of forming of psyche, school age, social adaptation, individuation, gender maturing.
Structuring of the Psycho-Informational Space and Hierarchy of Human Attention Volumes
A phenomenon of psycho-informational (psychical) quantization of environment into cells of different dimension has been discovered and substantiated; it results in hierarchic structure of human attention, memory and thinking volume corresponding to the structure of psychic functions viewed as functions of informational metabolism. In effect, the informational volume of cells can be expressed with the magic number row (7, 10, 17, 27, 44 etc) where Miller's magic number (7+/-2) is at the first position in the row.
Key words: attention, memory and thinking volume, socionics, dimensions of psychic functions, Miller's magical number, magic row, phenomenon of psycho-information environment structuring, functions of informational metabolism.
On the Dichotomy Judging/Perceiving
The article criticizes V.L.Pavlov's hypothesis on identification of the criterion J/P (judgment/perception) of the Myers-Briggs typology with the hypothetical Reinin's criterion static-dynamic in socionics. According to A.Augustinuvichiute and A.V.Bukalov, the criterion J/P empirically (by description), though not theoretically, coincides with the criterion rationality/irrationality in the socionics.
Key words: socionics, psychological types, typology of Myers-Briggs, judgment, perception, rationality, irrationality.
On the Difference between Hysteric and Hysteroid
Difference between hysteric and hysteroid reactions (potentially characteristic for FR, intuitive ethic extroverts IR and ET) are considered.
Key words: hysterical psychopathy, excitable psychopathy, choleric.
Socionics and Phylosophy
Dichotomies in Socionics and Philosophy
The close connection and parallelism of the basic socionic concepts - the theory of mental information metabolism - with a series of philosophical categories and systems is demonstrated. The use of quadruple socionic system of knowledge structuring, which covers all the information aspects, allows to expand and to complete many of these philosophical knowledge systems. The process of evolution of ideas in philosophy from antiquity up to the present days is considered from socionic positions.
Key words: socionics, philosophy, ontology, epistemology, thesis - antithesis, synthesis - anti-synthesis.
This article explains basic prerequisites, categories and concepts of Socionics, a science describing a system of Socion (the unity of 16 personality types), socionic nature of a human being and socionic structure of the society, different informational metabolism types of people and different forms of interactions (relationships) between them. Aspects and model of the informational metabolism (A-Model) are described.
Key words: socionics, informational metabolism type, социон, informational metabolism aspect, intertype relationships, logic, ethic, sensation, intuition.
Modeling of intertype relationships
A new description of intertype relationships based on type and relation duality principle is suggested. Eight-component models of intertype relationships are formulated and discussed in detail.
Key words: socionics, type of informational metabolism, intertype relationships, duality principle, model of relations.
Socionic Functions and Elements in the Western Tradition
Socionic functions of informational metabolism are considered in correlation with esoteric notions of elements, Yi-Ching hexagrams, Tarot Arcanes and Zodiacal signs.
Key words: socionics, functions of informational metabolism, esoteric, elements, fire, water, air, earth, ether, Yi-Ching hexagrams, Tarot Arcanes, Zodiacal signs.
